The bodywork and paint were completed by Colin Craig and the car was delivered to the garage by North Central Towing on June 15, 2015.  From June 15, 2015 through February 3, 2016 work on the rolling chassis and body continued.  The stainless steel trim was fastened to the fenders and body.  The new bolts for the running boards were attached to the car.  The interior dashboard ashtrays and instruments were reinstalled. 

 

The body bolts were removed from the body and frame from January 10 through February 27, 2014.  There are a total of nineteen (19) bolts or pairs of bolts that secure the body to the chassis or frame on the 1934 DeSoto.  Some of the body to frame bolts includes the location of the fasteners for the wooden floor.  The location of the bolts holes on the chassis are illustrated on the web page titled "2/3 - 2/7/2015 Body and Frame Joined". 

 

The headlight buckets were installed on the body on October 21, 2015.  The leather body mounts were copied from the originals, on November 18, 2015, and placed on the frame.  The hood lace was installed on the body on November 29, 2015.  The car body was transported to Lloyd's Automotive by Bannon & Son, for joining with the rolling chassis.  The rolling chassis was transported to Lloyd's by me on my open trailer.  The hood lace was installed on November 29, 2015. 

​​The body was transported to Lloyd's Automotive on February 3, 2016 for rejoining of the body to the chassis by Bannon and Son from Noblesville, Indiana.  The rejoined body and chassis were transported back to the garage by Bannon and Son on February 7, 2016.
